25 years ago - September 1988 - Past and Present Airliners at Ardmore

On the 23rd of September 1988 I was my way to Fiji but had a day in Auckland... The following aircraft worked or are working now for various airlines around New Zealand...

Piper Cherokee 140 ZK-DBT never saw airline service itself but it worked for Hokitika-based Westland Flying Services...  http://3rdlevelnz.blogspot.co.nz/2010/04/hokitikas-westland-flying-services.html It looked a lot nicer at Ardmore in 1988 after its repaint.

Air Coromandel's Cessna 172 ZK-JAZ. It still flies for the Auckland Aero Club
